I grew up in a Christian home going to church every Sunday attending a Christian school. 24/7 it was all God God God. I accepted the Lord as my Savior when i was about 5 or 6 years old. My mom sat me down on the couch and helped me accept Christ into my heart. I was surrounded by good influences and enjoyed attending Sunday school and Crossfire.
However, when I started to get older and enter my teenage years i got a bit rebellious. I wasnt doing that well in school. Making some bad choices and doing foolish things. I was surrounding myself with bad influences and ungodly things. My mom was seeing some changes in me and sent me to IHOP (International House of Prayer) for a Summer Teen Intensive. I got to learn a lot of things about God and got right with him. I repented from all the things i was doing. Although it hasnt been 100% perfect since IHOP, i have been through ups and downs but God was with me every step of the way. And forever i will trust Him and do my best to follow Him.

Cool testimony. Makes people think about their lives.
Karissa,
you definitely paint us a broad overview of your walk with God. I think when you share, people will specifically want to know what God is doing, or has done, in your life, besides just help you get tight with him. In what ways did IHOP change your relationship? How did he speak to you through that experience?
Hola karissa estoi muy feliz dq sientas q Dios esta 100pre cntigo y q con el todas las cosas son posibles. Pa'Lante' TQM DTB
